How it works

Submitting a launch on Launching Directory takes about ten minutes of writing and twenty-four to forty-eight hours of moderation. Here is the full path from URL to live listing.

  1. Paste your URL

    On the home page, paste the URL of the website you want to launch. The page redirects to the submission wizard with the URL pre-filled.

  2. Complete the six-step form

    Fill in basics (name, tagline, category, description), media (logo, cover image), links and social profiles, founder details, launch slot (date), and a final review step.

  3. Submit for review

    Submit the form. The listing enters a moderation queue and you receive a confirmation page. The team reviews submissions for accuracy, originality, and compliance with the terms of service.

  4. Wait for approval

    Most submissions are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. You can reply to the confirmation email if you need to change anything before the listing goes live.

  5. Appear on your launch date

    Approved listings appear in the daily list on the launch date set during step two. They show up in the relevant category page and become eligible for the weekly spotlight.

  6. Collect votes

    Visitors upvote launches they find useful. Each browser can vote once per product. The product page surfaces the running view and upvote counts in real time.

  7. Close out the cycle

    The cycle closes every Monday at 08:00 UTC. Votes freeze, the digest is sent to subscribers, and the next cycle starts.
